Chantelle graduated from Monash University in Medicine and Surgery in 2006. After working in rural and regional hospitals, she was drawn to formalise her passion for quality women’s health care by entering specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

 

Chantelle undertook 4 years of training at Monash Medical Centre and Box Hill Hospital, and 6 months at Mildura Base Hospital. After moving to Ballarat in 2014, she completed the final 2 years of her fellowship with the OGB group.

 

This variety of training allowed her to develop a diverse range of skills and interests. These include young women’s health, reproductive and pelvic disorders, colposcopy, advanced laparoscopy and normal and high-risk pregnancy care. Chantelle also has special interest in Indigenous women’s health and has undertaken extra training in this area.

 

Chantelle provides care to women at St John of God Hospital Ballarat, Ballarat Base Hospital and Ballarat Day Procedure Centre and also Gynaecological services to Stawell, Castlemaine and Maryborough areas.

 

Chantelle enjoys spending time on the family cattle farm on the outskirts of Ballarat with her husband and three children.
