Jess grew up in Gippsland and completed a Bachelor of Medicine/ Surgery at Monash university. She undertook FRANZCOG training at Monash Health, Cairns Base Hospital, Southwest Healthcare Warrnambool and Alice Springs Hospital, to gain a wide array of Australian experience. During her time at South West Healthcare, Jess worked with OGB, developing excellent procedural skills.
She then completed a Masters of Public Health at University of Melbourne and has volunteered in Vanuatu, the Philippines, Pakistan, Thailand, Bangladesh and South Sudan. She has extensive experience in providing care for women in low resource settings.
Jess is delighted to join the OGB Surfcoast Specialist team with particular interest in the care of women with endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and fertility problems. She provides advanced laparoscopic surgery, but sees herself as a generalist, providing, colposcopy, complex contraception advice, and pelvic floor surgery.
As part of her diverse interests in health care, Jessica maintains her volunteer work as Medical Director for Medical Santo in Vanuatu and providing public obstetrics services at Bass Coast Health, Wonthaggi.
