Jess graduated from Deakin Medical School in 2013. From the time she was a medical student, Jess knew that a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology was for her, as she saw the importance of advocating for women’s health and providing high quality women’s health care.
Jess completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s, Sunshine Hospital and Ballarat Base Hospital. She completed the final year of her training as the Senior Registrar at OGB and is thrilled to be continuing as part of the OGB team.
Jess is currently completing two further years of training in advanced laparoscopic surgery (key-hole surgery) for management of endometriosis, and fibroids. Jess has an interest in general gynaecology, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, fertility, prolapse, incontinence, and colposcopy for abnormal cervical screening tests.
Jess has a warm and gentle communication style and aims for patients to feel supported and empowered in their care. She is passionate about women’s health and is dedicated to providing excellent health care for women in the region.
Jess has moved to Ballarat with her young family and is excited to be a part of the local community.
