Michael grew up in Horsham in Western Victoria, moving to Melbourne to study medicine at The University of Melbourne, graduating in 2005. Following this, he worked for two years The Royal Melbourne Hospital. After spending six months at the Royal Women's Hospital, he discovered a passion for the challenges and rewards of obstetrics and gynaecology and began his training in 2009, the first four years of which he completed through the Royal Women's Hospital and also twelve months in Warrnambool.
Michael was delighted to join Russell, Michael and Katrina at the beginning of 2013 for the final two years of his fellowship and enjoys all aspects of the practice. Michael considers it a great privilege to assist women throughout their pregnancy and delivery and to be present and share with families one of life's most significant events.
He values the opportunity to care for women across all aspects of their reproductive health and has an interest in obstetrics, laparoscopic surgery, infertility, and colposcopy.
He provides Specialist services at St John of God Hospital, and Ballarat Base hospital,, in addition to East Grampians Health Service, Ararat, Maryborough District Health Service and Kyneton District health Service
He likes to spend time with his family, fishing and has a keen interest in horse racing.
